Are you an Observatorian who’s keen to get involved

in Mandela day? OBSID is hosting projects on

Sunday & Monday (17 & 18 July)!

Please get in contact if you're planning on giving your 67 Minutes and let's do it in Obs!

OBSID'S FOUR PROJECTS:

1)  Make a list of Infrastructure around your house that requires repair such as; potholes, pavements, drains, lamp poles, street sign. You can do this on your own time - Sunday or Monday and drop off or email the photos and/notes to OBSID during the week!

2) Work on the OBSID gardens;  spreading vegetation from your garden into ours. Let us know if you have any plants you'd like to share and we'll let you know where you can earth them!

3)  Assist in recruitment for the Observatory neighbourhood watch (ONW); ask your neighbour, ask a friend! Ask a few folks to sign up or better yet -  sign up yourself! The more ears and eyes the less crime! Membership is free and having open communications is key!

Doing anything for the community for 67minutes is the just of this project. What better way than getting involved with your local community!
