The Black River Park, the 78 000 square metre office park in Observatory, is the single biggest contributor of OBSID levies. The massive complex further contributes to the running of the OBSID through the involvement of its director, Mike Vietri, on the OBSID board.
Mike has been involved in Observatory since 1999, when his company, Black River Park Investments, bought and started developing the land in the north-eastern corner of the suburb.
He has been credited with bringing high-quality tenants to Observatory, including the likes of Didata, and as such has a keen interest in the constant improvement of the village. Mike says what he likes most about Observatory is the diversity and creativity of its inhabitants.
