Kris Marais was a director of Obsid since it started operations in 2009, but resigned in February 2011. 

He chaired the Social Issues Committee, which is part of the Ward 57 Social Issues Forum. He was also active in several other committees.

In the start-up phase of Obsid he wrote the Obsid business plan.

As a director Kris wanted to strive to make OBSID the best, as you can read in the article about him published in Obslife September 2010.
